Mystic Dreamer Tarot

SIX OF CUPS

A mother and a child, representing an innocent, loving relationship, stand together amongst cups filled with beautiful, colorful flowers. Behind them is an interesting round structure. Against the murky sky and landscape, the woman, child, and flowers provide a welcome splash of color.

This is a card of sweetness, kindness, and innocence. The Six of Cups brings with it memories of happy times in the past. It can represent a time of sweet, simple joys or it can be something larger. Perhaps a passionate pursuit or beloved creative endeavor that you let go of will return to your life. It could be a harbinger of someone from your past whom you would welcome back into your life.

If reversed, this card can be taken two ways. Perhaps you are wrapped up in nostalgia and cannot move ahead or feel satisfied because nothing will ever be as good as what you remember. Contrarily, it can indicate that you do not remember your past fondly and that you don't want anything from your past to visit your present life.

Use your intuition

  • The mother is showing the girl a vase of flowers, yet the girl seems only interested in the flower she is holding. How do you fit that into the meaning of the card?
  • Do the different flowers of colors of the flowers have any symbolic meaning?
